# §182.81. Applicability.


This subpart applies only to textile or apparel goods. This subpart contains the provisions for textile or apparel goods that are claiming USMCA preferential tariff treatment under a tariff preference level (TPL) and the provisions related to site visits. With the exception of §§ [182.11](/cfr/19/182.11.md), [182.12](/cfr/19/182.12.md), [182.14](/cfr/19/182.14.md), [182.16](/cfr/19/182.16.md), [subpart D](/cfr/19/subpartD.md), and the rules of origin set forth in Appendix A of this part, the relevant requirements and procedures set forth in this part apply to TPLs. For textile or apparel goods, including TPLs, CBP has the discretion to conduct a verification pursuant to the general verification means and procedures contained in [subpart G](/cfr/19/subpartG.md) of this part or to choose to conduct a verification pursuant to a site visit as set forth in this subpart. Unless otherwise specified in this subpart, the requirements and procedures set forth in [subpart G](/cfr/19/subpartG.md) of this part do not apply to a site visit conducted pursuant to this subpart.
