# §182.122. Corrected claim or certification of origin by importers.


An importer who makes a corrected claim under [§ 182.11(c)](/cfr/19/182.11.md?p=c) will not be subject to civil or administrative penalties under [19 U.S.C. 1592](/usc/19/1592.md) for having made an incorrect claim or having submitted an incorrect certification of origin, provided that the corrected claim is promptly and voluntarily made in accordance with [§ 182.124](/cfr/19/182.124.md).
