# §115.7. Designation of additional Certifying Authorities.

- (a) The Commissioner may designate as a Certifying Authority any nonprofit firm or association that he finds competent to carry out the functions of [§§ 115.8 through 115.14](/cfr/19/115.8..115.14.md) of this subpart.
- (b) Any designation as Certifying Authority may be terminated by the Commissioner.
