# §153.16. Contents of application.

- (a) **Cross-reference.** The submission of information under §§ [153.7](/cfr/18/153.7.md) and [153.8](/cfr/18/153.8.md) of [subpart B](/cfr/18/subpartB.md) of this part shall be deemed sufficient for purposes of applying for a Presidential Permit or an amendment to an existing Presidential Permit under [subpart C](/cfr/18/subpartC.md) of this part for the construction and operation of border facilities.
- (b) **Amendment not proposing construction.** An applicant proposing to amend the article(s) of an existing Presidential Permit (other than facilities aspects) must file information pursuant to [§ 153.7(a)](/cfr/18/153.7.md?p=a) and a summary and justification of its proposal.
