# §1308.1. Purpose and organization.


The regulations in this part implement the Contract Disputes Act of 1978 as it relates to TVA. This part consists of 5 subparts. [Subpart A](/cfr/18/subpartA.md) deals with matters applicable throughout the part, incuding definitions. [Subpart B](/cfr/18/subpartB.md) deals with Contracting Officers' decisions. [Subpart C](/cfr/18/subpartC.md) deals with general matters concerning the TVA Board of Contract Appeals. [Subpart D](/cfr/18/subpartD.md) deals with hearing and prehearing procedures, including discovery. [Subpart E](/cfr/18/subpartE.md) deals with subpoenas.
