# §38.2. Exempt provisions.


A designated contract market, the designated contract market's operator and transactions traded on or through a designated contract market under section 5 of the Act shall comply with all applicable regulations under [Title 17 of the Code of Federal Regulations](/cfr/17.md), except for the requirements of [§ 1.39(b)](/cfr/17/1.39.md?p=b), [§ 1.44](/cfr/17/1.44.md), [§ 1.53](/cfr/17/1.53.md), [§ 1.54](/cfr/17/1.54.md), § [1.59(b)](/cfr/17/1.59.md?p=b) and [(c)](/cfr/17/1.59.md?p=c), [§ 1.62](/cfr/17/1.62.md), § [1.63(a)](/cfr/17/1.63.md?p=a) and [(b)](/cfr/17/1.63.md?p=b) and [(d) through (f)](/cfr/17/1.63.md?p=d..f), [§ 1.64](/cfr/17/1.64.md), [§ 1.69](/cfr/17/1.69.md), [part 8](/cfr/17/part8.md), [§ 100.1](/cfr/17/100.1.md), [§ 155.2](/cfr/17/155.2.md), and [part 156](/cfr/17/part156.md).
