# §1750.2. Transfer of functions.


Effective May 14, 1973, section 30(c) of the Consumer Product Safety Act (86 Stat. 1231; [15 U.S.C. 2079(c)](/usc/15/2079.md?p=c)) transferred functions under the Refrigerator Safety Act from the Secretary of Commerce and the Federal Trade Commission to the Consumer Product Safety Commission.
