# §16.12. Termination of advisory committees.


Any advisory committee shall automatically terminate not later than two years after it is established, reestablished, or renewed, unless:

- (a) Its duration is otherwise provided by law;
- (b) It is renewed in accordance with [§ 16.13](/cfr/16/16.13.md) of this part; or
- (c) **The Commission terminates it before that time.**
