# §1505.2. Scope of part.


This part sets forth the requirements whereby electrically operated toys and other electrically operated articles intended for use by children (as defined in [§ 1505.1(a)(1)](/cfr/16/1505.1.md?p=a-1)) are not banned toys or banned articles under [§ 1500.18(b)(1)](/cfr/16/1500.18.md?p=b-1) of this chapter.
