# §1309.3. Banned hazardous product.


Any crib bumper, as defined in [section 1309.2](/cfr/16/1309.2.md), regardless of the date of manufacture, is a banned hazardous product under section 8 of the Consumer Product Safety Act ([15 U.S.C. 2057](/usc/15/2057.md)).
