# §1226.2. Requirements for soft infant and toddler carriers.


Each soft infant and toddler carrier must comply with all applicable provisions of ASTM F2236-24, Standard Consumer Safety Specification for Soft Infant and Toddler Carriers, approved on July 1, 2024. The Director of the Federal Register approves this incorporation by reference in accordance with 5 U.S.C. [552(a)](/usc/5/552.md?p=a) and [1](/usc/5/1.md) CFR [part 51](/cfr/16/part51.md). This material is available for inspection at the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and at the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA).
