# §1112.41. What are the possible adverse actions the CPSC may take against a third party conformity assessment body?

- (a) **Potential adverse actions against a third party conformity assessment body include—**
  - (1) Denial of Acceptance of Accreditation;
  - (2) Suspension of Acceptance of Accreditation; or
  - (3) **Withdrawal of Acceptance of Accreditation.**
- (b) Withdrawal of acceptance of accreditation can be on a temporary or permanent basis, and the CPSC may immediately withdraw its acceptance in accordance with [§ 1112.53](/cfr/16/1112.53.md).
