# §1110.19. Component part certificates.


Pursuant to [part 1109](/cfr/16/part1109.md) of this chapter, component part certificates are voluntary, but may be relied upon by a finished product certifier to issue a finished product certificate. Component part certificates must not be eFiled in ACE upon importation of a component part. Certifiers of component parts, and finished product certifiers that rely on component part certificates to issue a finished product certificate, must meet the requirements in [part 1109](/cfr/16/part1109.md) of this chapter. Component part certificates must meet the same form, content, recordkeeping, and availability requirements as finished product certificates, described in §§ [1110.9](/cfr/16/1110.9.md), [1110.11](/cfr/16/1110.11.md), [1110.13(c)](/cfr/16/1110.13.md?p=c), [1110.15](/cfr/16/1110.15.md), and [1110.17](/cfr/16/1110.17.md).
