# §998.23. Service obligations for original appointments.


Officer candidates accepting an original appointment in the NOAA Corps upon graduation from the NOAA Corps Basic Officer Training Class as described in [subpart B](/cfr/15/subpartB.md) of this part shall incur an ADSO of 4 years.
