# §960.17. Investigations and enforcement.

- (a) The Secretary may investigate, provide penalties for noncompliance, and prevent future noncompliance, by using the authorities specified at [51 U.S.C. 60123(a)](/usc/51/60123.md?p=a).
- (b) When the Secretary undertakes administrative enforcement proceedings as authorized by 51 U.S.C. [60123(a)(3)](/usc/51/60123.md?p=a-3) and [(4)](/usc/51/60123.md?p=a-4), the parties will follow the procedures provided at [15 CFR part 904](/cfr/15/part904.md).
