# §922.83. Permit procedures and issuance criteria.

- (a) A person may conduct an activity otherwise prohibited by § [922.82(a)(2) through (9)](/cfr/15/922.82.md?p=a-2..a-9) and [(11) through (16)](/cfr/15/922.82.md?p=a-11..a-16) if such activity is specifically authorized by and conducted in accordance with the scope, purpose, terms and conditions of a permit issued under this section and [subpart D](/cfr/15/subpartD.md) of this part.
- (b) Applications for permits should be addressed to the Director, Office of National Marine Sanctuaries; ATTN: Superintendent, Greater Farallones National Marine Sanctuary, 991 Marine Dr., The Presidio, San Francisco, CA 94129.
