# §922.74. Permit procedures.

- (a) A person may conduct an activity otherwise prohibited by [§ 922.72](/cfr/15/922.72.md) or [§ 922.73](/cfr/15/922.73.md) if the activity is specifically authorized by and conducted in accordance with the scope, purpose, terms, and conditions of a permit issued under this section and [subpart D](/cfr/15/subpartD.md) of this part.
- (b) **Permit applications should be addressed to the Director, Office of National Marine Sanctuaries; ATTN—** Superintendent, Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary, University of California Santa Barbara, Ocean Science Education Building 514, MC 6155, Santa Barbara, CA 93106-6155.
