# §47.71. Duration of Certificate; change of status.

- (a) **A Dealer's Aircraft Registration Certificate expires 1 year after the date it is issued.** Each additional certificate expires on the date the original certificate expires.
- (b) The holder of a Dealer's Aircraft Registration Certificate must immediately notify the Registry of any of the following—
  - (1) A change of name;
  - (2) A change of address;
  - (3) A change that affects status as a citizen of the United States; or
  - (4) **The discontinuance of business.**
