# §414.11. Application.


An applicant may submit an application for a safety element approval in one of two ways:

- (a) Separate from a vehicle operator license application in accordance with [§ 414.13](/cfr/14/414.13.md); or
- (b) Concurrent with a vehicle operator license application in accordance with [§ 414.15](/cfr/14/414.15.md).
