# §38.5. Exemptions.


A petition for exemption from any requirement of this part must be submitted to the Administrator in accordance with and meet the requirements of [part 11](/cfr/14/part11.md) of this chapter. The FAA will consult with the EPA on each exemption petition before taking action.
