# §294.70. Enforcement.


In case of any violation of any of the provisions of 49 U.S.C. Subtitle VII , or this part, or any other rule, regulation, or order issued under the Statute, the violator may be subject to a proceeding under [section 46101](/cfr/14/46101.md) of 49 U.S.C. Subtitle VII before the Department, or [sections 46106 through 46108](/cfr/14/46106..46108.md) of 49 U.S.C. Subtitle VII before a U.S. District Court, as the case may be, to compel compliance; or to impose civil penalties under the provisions of [section 46301](/cfr/14/46301.md) of 49 U.S.C. Subtitle VII; or in the case of a willful violation, to impose criminal penalties under the provisions of [section 46316](/cfr/14/46316.md) of 49 U.S.C. Subtitle VII; or to impose other lawful sanctions, including revocation of registration.
