# §25.371. Gyroscopic loads.

The structure supporting any engine or auxiliary power unit must be designed for the loads, including gyroscopic loads, arising from the conditions specified in §§ [25.331](/cfr/14/25.331.md), [25.341](/cfr/14/25.341.md), [25.349](/cfr/14/25.349.md), [25.351](/cfr/14/25.351.md), [25.473](/cfr/14/25.473.md), [25.479](/cfr/14/25.479.md), and [25.481](/cfr/14/25.481.md), with the engine or auxiliary power unit at the maximum rotating speed appropriate to the condition. For the purposes of compliance with this paragraph, the pitch maneuver in [§ 25.331(c)(1)](/cfr/14/25.331.md?p=c-1) must be carried out until the positive limit maneuvering load factor (point A2 in [§ 25.333(b)](/cfr/14/25.333.md?p=b)) is reached.
