# §194.205. Limitations on flight training privileges for holders of airline transport pilot certificates under a part 135 of this chapter approved training program.


Notwithstanding the privileges in [§ 61.167(a)(2)](/cfr/14/61.167.md?p=a-2) of this chapter, a person who holds an airline transport pilot certificate with powered-lift ratings must hold a flight instructor certificate with the appropriate powered-lift ratings to instruct pilots in accordance with a training curriculum approved to meet the requirements of [§ 194.243(a)(1)](/cfr/14/194.243.md?p=a-1).
