# §121.570. Airplane evacuation capability.

- (a) No person may cause an airplane carrying passengers to be moved on the surface, take off, or land unless each automatically deployable emergency evacuation assisting means, installed pursuant to [§ 121.310(a)](/cfr/14/121.310.md?p=a), is ready for evacuation.
- (b) Each certificate holder shall ensure that, at all times passengers are on board prior to airplane movement on the surface, at least one floor-level exit provides for the egress of passengers through normal or emergency means.
