# §111.250. Correction of reported information and dispute resolution.

- (a) A reporting entity that discovers or is informed of a perceived error or inaccuracy in information previously reported to the PRD must correct that record in the PRD within 10 days of identification, or initiate dispute resolution in accordance with [paragraph (b)](#b) of this section.
- (b) **Each reporting entity must—**
  - (1) Initiate investigation of any dispute within 30 days of determining that it does not agree that the record identified is inaccurate.
  - (2) Provide final disposition within a reasonable amount of time to any request for dispute resolution made by an individual about PRD records.
  - (3) Document in the PRD the final disposition of any dispute made by a pilot in accordance with this [paragraph (b)](#b) and [§ 111.320](/cfr/14/111.320.md).
