# §315.4. TAAC selection and operation.

- (a) EDA solicits applications from organizations interested in operating a TAAC through Notice of Funding Opportunity announcements laying out selection and award criteria. The following entities are eligible to apply:
  - (1) Universities or affiliated organizations;
  - (2) States or local governments; or
  - (3) **Non-profit organizations.**
- (b) Entities selected to operate the TAACs are awarded cooperative agreements and work closely with EDA and import-impacted firms. TAAC cooperative agreements are subject to all Federal laws and to Federal, Department, and EDA policies, regulations, and procedures applicable to Federal financial assistance awards, including [2 CFR part 200](/cfr/2/part200.md).
