# §126.606. May a procuring activity request that SBA release a requirement from the 8(a) BD program for award as a HUBZone contract?


A procuring activity may request that SBA release an 8(a) requirement for award as a HUBZone contract under the procedures set forth in [§ 124.504(d)](/cfr/13/124.504.md?p=d).
