# §602.1. Purpose and scope.


This part contains FCA's rules for disclosing our records or information; processing requests for records under the Freedom of Information Act ([5 U.S.C. 552](/usc/5/552.md), as amended)(FOIA); FOIA fees; disclosing otherwise exempt information in litigation when FCA is not a party; and getting documents in public rulemaking files. [Part 603](/cfr/12/part603.md) of this chapter tells you how to get records about yourself under the Privacy Act of 1974, [5 U.S.C. 552a](/usc/5/552a.md).
