# §347.301. Purpose, authority, and scope.


Under the International Lending Supervision Act of 1983 (Title IX, Pub. L. 98-181, 97 Stat. 1153) ([12 U.S.C. 3901](/usc/12/3901.md) et seq.) (ILSA), the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation prescribes the regulations in this subpart relating to international lending activities of banks.
