# §269a.5. Hearing officer.


The term hearing officer means the officer designated by the panel to conduct hearings pursuant to [§ 269b.420](/cfr/12/269b.420.md) et seq. of this subchapter and whose duties and power are enumerated in [§ 269b.442](/cfr/12/269b.442.md) of this subchapter.
