# §249.34. Cash flows related to Covered Federal Reserve Facility Funding.

- (a) **Treatment of Covered Federal Reserve Facility Funding.** Notwithstanding any other section of this part and except as provided in [paragraph (b)](#b) of this section, outflow amounts and inflow amounts related to Covered Federal Reserve Facility Funding and the assets securing Covered Federal Reserve Facility Funding are excluded from the calculation of a Board-regulated institution's total net cash outflow amount calculated under [§ 249.30](/cfr/12/249.30.md).
- (b) **Exception.** To the extent the Covered Federal Reserve Facility Funding is secured by securities, debt obligations, or other instruments issued by the Board-regulated institution or one of its consolidated subsidiaries, the Covered Federal Reserve Facility Funding is not subject to [paragraph (a)](#a) of this section and this outflow amount must be included in the Board-regulated institution's total net cash outflow amount calculated under [§ 249.30](/cfr/12/249.30.md).
