# §238.62. Definitions.


For the purposes of this subpart:

- (a) **Financial holding company activities—** refers to activities permissible under section 4(k) of the Bank Holding Company Act of 1956 ([12 U.S.C. 1843(k)](/usc/12/1843.md?p=k)) and [§ 225.86](/cfr/12/225.86.md) of this chapter.
