# §238.101. Authority and purpose.


This subpart implements [section 10(f)](/cfr/12/10.md?p=f) of HOLA which requires savings associations with holding companies to provide the Board not less than 30 days' notice of a proposed declaration of a dividend. This subpart applies to all declarations of dividends by a subsidiary savings association of a savings and loan holding company.
