# §223.55. What are the standards under which the Board may grant exemptions from the requirements of section 23B?


The Board may prescribe regulations to exempt transactions or relationships from the requirements of [section 23B](/cfr/12/23B.md) and [subpart F](/cfr/12/subpartF.md) of this part if it finds such exemptions to be in the public interest and consistent with the purposes of [section 23B](/cfr/12/23B.md).
