# §19.230. Scope.


This subpart applies to informal hearings afforded to any director or senior executive officer dismissed pursuant to an order issued under [section 38](/cfr/12/38.md) of the FDIA ([12 U.S.C. 1831o](/usc/12/1831o.md)) and [12 CFR part 6](/cfr/12/part6.md) (prompt corrective action). For purposes of this subpart, insured depository institution means an insured national bank, an insured Federal savings association, an insured Federal savings bank, or an insured Federal branch of a foreign bank.
