# §19.181. Confidentiality of formal investigations.


The entire record of any formal investigative proceeding, including the resolution or order of the Comptroller authorizing or terminating the proceeding; all subpoenas issued by the OCC during the investigation; and all information, documents, and transcripts obtained by the OCC in the course of a formal investigation, are confidential and may be disclosed only in accordance with the provisions of [part 4](/cfr/12/part4.md) of this chapter or pursuant to OCC discovery obligations under [subpart A](/cfr/12/subpartA.md) of this part.
