# §1206.7. Delinquent payment.


The Director may assess interest and penalties on any delinquent semiannual payment or other payment assessed under this part in accordance with [31 U.S.C. 3717](/usc/31/3717.md) (interest and penalty on claims) and [part 1704 of this title](/cfr/12/part1704.md) (debt collection).
