# §1081.500. Scope.

- (a) This subpart prescribes the rules of practice and procedure applicable to the issuance of a temporary cease-and-desist order authorized by [section 1053(c)](/cfr/12/1053.md?p=c) of the Dodd-Frank Act ([12 U.S.C. 5563(c)](/usc/12/5563.md?p=c)).
- (b) The issuance of a temporary cease-and-desist order does not stay or otherwise affect the proceedings instituted by the issuance of a notice of charges, which are governed by subparts A through D of this part.
