# §300.61. Federal elections (52 U.S.C. 30125(e)(1)(A)).


No person described in [11 CFR 300.60](/cfr/11/300.60.md) shall solicit, receive, direct, transfer, spend, or disburse funds in connection with an election for Federal office, including funds for any Federal election activity as defined in [11 CFR 100.24](/cfr/11/100.24.md), unless the amounts consist of Federal funds that are subject to the limitations, prohibitions, and reporting requirements of the Act.
