# §111.1. Scope (52 U.S.C. 30109).


These regulations provide procedures for processing possible violations of the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971, as amended ([52 U.S.C. 30101](/usc/52/30101.md), et seq.) and chapters 95 and 96 of the Internal Revenue Code of 1954 ([26 U.S.C. 9001](/usc/26/9001.md), et seq. and 9031 et seq.).
