# §76.113. Formula quantities of strategic special nuclear material—Category I.

- (a) The requirements for material control and accounting for formula quantities of strategic special nuclear material (Category I) are contained in §§ [74.11](/cfr/10/74.11.md), [74.13](/cfr/10/74.13.md), [74.15](/cfr/10/74.15.md), [74.17](/cfr/10/74.17.md), [74.19](/cfr/10/74.19.md), [74.51](/cfr/10/74.51.md), [74.53](/cfr/10/74.53.md), [74.55](/cfr/10/74.55.md), [74.57](/cfr/10/74.57.md), [74.59](/cfr/10/74.59.md), [74.81](/cfr/10/74.81.md), and [74.82](/cfr/10/74.82.md) of this chapter.
- (b) The requirements for physical security for formula quantities of strategic special nuclear material (Category I) are contained in §§ [70.22(h)](/cfr/10/70.22.md?p=h), [73.20](/cfr/10/73.20.md), [73.40](/cfr/10/73.40.md), [73.45](/cfr/10/73.45.md), [73.46](/cfr/10/73.46.md), [73.70](/cfr/10/73.70.md), and [73.1200](/cfr/10/73.1200.md).
- (c) The requirements for the protection of Safeguards Information pertaining to formula quantities of strategic special nuclear material (Category I) are contained in §§ [73.21](/cfr/10/73.21.md) and [73.22](/cfr/10/73.22.md) of this chapter. Information designated by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) as Unclassified Controlled Nuclear Information must be protected in accordance with DOE requirements.
- (d) The Corporation may neither transport Category I material offsite nor deliver Category I material to a carrier for transport offsite.
