# §612.1. Purpose.


This part implements [section 40323(g)(2)](/cfr/10/40323.md?p=g-2) of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (Pub. L. 117-58), codified at [42 U.S.C. 18753(g)(2)](/usc/42/18753.md?p=g-2), to set forth the procedure to recapture credits awarded pursuant to the civil nuclear credit program.
