# §53.1140. Early site permits.


[Sections 53.1140 through 53.1188](/cfr/10/53.1140..53.1188.md) set out the requirements and procedures applicable to Commission issuance of an early site permit under this part for approval of a site for a commercial nuclear plant separate from the filing of an application for a CP or COL for the facility.
