# §431.291. Scope.


This subpart specifies test procedures and energy conservation standards for certain commercial refrigerated bottled or canned beverage vending machines, pursuant to part A of Title III of the Energy Policy and Conservation Act, as amended, [42 U.S.C. 6291-6309](/usc/42/6291-6309.md). The regulatory provisions of §§ [430.33](/cfr/10/430.33.md) and [430.34](/cfr/10/430.34.md) and subparts [D](/cfr/10/part430-subpartD.md) and [E](/cfr/10/part430-subpartE.md) of part 430 of this chapter are applicable to refrigerated bottled or canned beverage vending machines.
