# §429.1. Purpose and scope.


This part sets forth the procedures for certification, determination and enforcement of compliance of covered products and covered equipment with the applicable energy conservation standards set forth in parts [430](/cfr/10/part430.md) and [431](/cfr/10/part431.md) of this subchapter.
