# §26.825. Criminal penalties.

- (a) Section 223 of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended, provides for criminal sanctions for willful violation of, attempted violation of, or conspiracy to violate, any regulation issued under sections [161b](/cfr/10/161b.md), [161i](/cfr/10/161i.md), or [161o](/cfr/10/161o.md) of the Act. For the purposes of [section 223](/cfr/10/223.md), all of the regulations in [Part 26](/cfr/10/part26.md) are issued under one or more of sections [161b](/cfr/10/161b.md), [161i](/cfr/10/161i.md), or [161o](/cfr/10/161o.md), except for the sections listed in [paragraph (b)](#b) of this section.
- (b) The regulations in this part that are not issued under sections [161b](/cfr/10/161b.md), [161i](/cfr/10/161i.md), or [161o](/cfr/10/161o.md) for the purposes of [section 223](/cfr/10/223.md) are as follows: §§ [26.1](/cfr/10/26.1.md), [26.3](/cfr/10/26.3.md), [26.5](/cfr/10/26.5.md), [26.7](/cfr/10/26.7.md), [26.8](/cfr/10/26.8.md), [26.9](/cfr/10/26.9.md), [26.11](/cfr/10/26.11.md), [26.51](/cfr/10/26.51.md), [26.81](/cfr/10/26.81.md), [26.121](/cfr/10/26.121.md), [26.151](/cfr/10/26.151.md), [26.181](/cfr/10/26.181.md), [26.201](/cfr/10/26.201.md), [26.601](/cfr/10/26.601.md), [26.823](/cfr/10/26.823.md), and 26.825.
