# §1021.100. Purpose.


The purpose of this part is to establish certain procedures that the Department of Energy (DOE) shall use to comply with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) of 1969 ([42 U.S.C. 4332(2)](/usc/42/4332.md?p=2)), as amended. This part applies to all Departmental Elements.
