# §16.3. Certifying duties.


The agency certifying officer is responsible for attaching the required number of true copies of each original document submitted by the agency to the Office of the Federal Register and for making the certification required by §§ [18.5](/cfr/1/18.5.md) and [18.6](/cfr/1/18.6.md) of this chapter.
