# §16.2. Liaison duties.


Each agency liaison officer shall—

- (a) Represent the agency in all matters relating to the submission of documents to the Office of the Federal Register, and respecting general compliance with this chapter;
- (b) Be responsible for the effective distribution and use within the agency of Federal Register information on document drafting and publication assistance authorized by [§ 15.10](/cfr/1/15.10.md) of this chapter;
- (c) Promote the agency's participation in the technical instruction authorized by [§ 15.10](/cfr/1/15.10.md) of this chapter; and
- (d) Be available to discuss documents submitted for publication with the editors of the Federal Register.
