## Section 1 Short title

- This Act may be cited as the “Protecting <del>America’s </del><ins>American </ins>Seniors’ Access to Care Act”.

## Sec. 2 Prohibition on finalizing proposed staffing rule

- The Secretary of Health and Human Services may not <ins>finalize, </ins>implement, enforce, or otherwise give effect to the proposed rule entitled “Medicare and Medicaid Programs; Minimum Staffing Standards for Long-Term Care Facilities and Medicaid Institutional Payment Transparency Reporting” published by the Department of Health and Human Services on September 6, 2023 (88 Fed. Reg. <del>61352–61429), </del><ins>61352–61429) </ins>and may not promulgate any substantially similar rule.
